Liz Oliver has worked in healthcare for 20 years, including 10 years as a certified nursing assistant in a long-term care setting. Specialties include rural acute care, surgical services, ambulatory care, infusion therapy, oncology, medical-surgical, obstetrics, transitional care, case management, and utilization review. Oliver began teaching at CWC in September 2016.

The learning environment resembles that of a healthcare facility. Each member of the faculty team draws from extensive and diverse experiences to mentor students. The willingness of the entire faculty to give of themselves in support of students is amazing and similar to the nurse-patient relationship. The faculty team cares about each student and works hard to help them to succeed.
